Through Workshops, Conferences and Cohorts

Our professional development opportunities bring together educators working in Jewish early childhood education programs, congregational schools, and day schools to enhance their abilities in teaching about Israel, Jewish values, Torah, and other Jewish and general education subjects.

Early Childhood Education

JES consultants work with teachers to offer tips and strategies to optimize learning and social-emotional development. Our certified MSDE trainers can customize professional development programs to meet the diverse needs of EC programs, including the annual Early Childhood Conference, which brings 300+ educators together for an exciting and fulfilling day of learning.

Day Schools

We offer opportunities for school professionals and educators to learn best practices that support student success. Our programs include engaging workshops, leadership and curriculum cohorts, technology networks and more.

Congregational Schools

JES works with Congregational Schools to support an annual Congregational Teachers Conference and a monthly Directors community of practice (CoP). We encourage the cohort to form community via connecting on WhatsApp as well as work as the interface between schools and community resources.

Giving back to Professionals

School and Educator Grants

We want to make professional development as accessible as possible and are proud to administer the Crane Professional Development Grant. Schools and educators may be eligible to receive a partial reimbursement for the cost of professional development training that they take either through JES or an outside vendor.
