Community Shaliach
Connection Through Israel
In collaboration with the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), The Associated hosts a senior community Shaliach (emissary) who is a post army, post college individual. The community Shaliach is in charge of creating meaningful engagement and educational opportunities with Israel for schools, teachers and students, and the general community.
The Shaliach is a great resource for Israel education related matters and can be contacted for both consultations and as a resource to bring into your classroom. The goal of the Shaliach is to connect individuals to their own Jewish identity through strengthening their connection to Israel and other Israelis.
