Children’s Assistance for Resources and Education (CARE) Grant

The new JES grant initiative, funded by the Lyn Stacie Getz Foundation, aims to alleviate the financial strain on parents of children with special needs by offering micro-grants ranging from $250 to $500. These grants are designed to help cover essential supplemental services such as counseling, tutoring, and special education supports, particularly for families grappling with the high costs of private school tuition. Acknowledging the significant financial burden these families face, JES seeks to provide meaningful relief and support to not only address immediate financial challenges but also reinforce a message of respect and understanding for families navigating these difficult circumstances.
