This program was established in 2020 in loving memory of Rebbetzin Dr. Aviva Weisbord, A’H, founding executive director of SHEMESH, which is now part of JES. Dr. Weisbord was passionate about Jewish education and believed that every child, including those struggling to learn, is entitled to an impactful secular and Judaic education with full and unrestricted access.
