AI and Middot Community Innovation Challenge

Event Details:
Are you a Jewish high school student in Baltimore ready to tackle real-world challenges? Join us for a unique opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence can be used responsibly to strengthen our community.
The Challenge
Identify a real-world challenge, explore it through the lens of Jewish middot (values), and use AI to develop an innovative solution.
Why Participate?
- Build Future Skills: Gain practical AI literacy and design thinking experience.
- Lead with Values: Apply Jewish ethics to modern technology and innovation.
- Collaborate: Work with peers and gain mentorship from experienced coaches.
- Make an Impact: Develop creative solutions to meaningful problems.
Who Can Join?
- High school students (Grades 9–12).
- Teams of up to five students.
- Each team must designate one adult coach (individuals may apply and be assigned a team)
- No AI, coding, or programming experience expertise required.
The Hackathon
The program culminates in a community-wide event where teams will present their projects, celebrate innovation, and compete for awards. More details coming soon.
