JES Educator Expo: A Powerful Afternoon of Learning and Connection

On Sunday, January 11, JES hosted the Educator Expo, bringing together close to 35 educator presenters and vendors and welcoming approximately 75 attendees for an afternoon focused on professional growth, collaboration, and educator appreciation. Designed to elevate teacher expertise, highlight local talent, and foster cross-school connections, the Expo was met with overwhelmingly positive feedback, earning a weighted average rating of 4.73 out of 5, with 73% of respondents giving the highest possible score. Presenters and vendors cited demonstrating appreciation for educators, building new professional relationships, and sharing ideas with peers as the most impactful aspects of the event. The Expo also reflected JES’s commitment to supporting educators in all aspects of their lives through a family-friendly model that included the Magic Mayhem Circus, allowing children to be engaged while parents participated fully. One educator shared, “This was my first time going and I will definitely go again. Seeing what other educators do helps me grow my own skillset with tried-and-true techniques I can actually use.” Overall, the Expo was in alignment with JES’s strategic priorities of strengthening educators, schools, and the broader Jewish educational community.
